1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client", "you", or "your") and DEVOTOMY LTD trading as 7DayWeb ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of our website design and development services. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Description

7DayWeb provides professional website design and development services specifically for UK tradesmen, including but not limited to:

• Custom website design and development
• Mobile-responsive website optimization
• Search engine optimization (SEO) setup
• Lead generation optimization
• Analytics tracking implementation
• Website hosting and maintenance (where applicable)

3. Service Timeline and Delivery

3.1 7-Day Delivery Promise

We commit to delivering your professional website within 7 business days from the date of project commencement, provided all required content and materials are supplied by the Client within the agreed timeframe.

3.2 Project Commencement

Project commencement begins upon receipt of signed agreement, initial payment, and all required project materials including content, images, and branding assets.

3.3 Client Responsibilities

• Provide all required content, images, and materials within 2 business days
• Respond to project communications within 24 hours
• Provide feedback and approvals in a timely manner
• Ensure all provided content is accurate and legally compliant

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

4.1 Service Fees

All service fees are clearly outlined in your project proposal and must be agreed upon before project commencement. Prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

4.2 Payment Schedule

• 50% deposit required before project commencement
• Remaining 50% due upon project completion and delivery
• Payment terms: Net 7 days from invoice date

4.3 Late Payment

Late payment charges of 1.5% per month may apply to overdue invoices. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts more than 30 days overdue.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Client Content

You retain all rights to content, images, and materials you provide. You grant us a license to use these materials solely for the purpose of delivering your website project.

5.2 Website Design and Code

Upon full payment, you receive ownership of the custom website design and code created specifically for your project. We retain rights to any proprietary tools, frameworks, or methodologies used.

5.3 Portfolio Rights

We reserve the right to showcase your completed website in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

6. Revisions and Changes

6.1 Included Revisions

Each project includes up to 3 rounds of revisions during the design phase. Additional revisions may incur extra charges as outlined in your project proposal.

6.2 Scope Changes

Significant changes to project scope, functionality, or requirements after project commencement may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

7.1 Service Warranty

We warrant that our services will be performed with professional skill and care. We provide a 30-day warranty period for bug fixes and technical issues from the date of project delivery.

7.2 Disclaimers

We do not guarantee specific business results, search engine rankings, or lead generation outcomes. Website performance depends on various factors beyond our control, including content quality, market conditions, and ongoing maintenance.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

9.1 Client Cancellation

You may cancel your project at any time with written notice. Refunds will be calculated based on work completed, with a minimum charge of 25% of the total project fee to cover initial setup and planning costs.

9.2 Company Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel projects that violate these terms, involve illegal activities, or where the client fails to provide necessary materials or payments.

10. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding your business information, trade secrets, and proprietary data. This obligation continues beyond the completion of our services.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, natural disasters, or technical failures of third-party services.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to existing clients via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
